  • 1110 screened at Oral Cancer Prevention 2-day camps organized by Ermitage International School of France, the Emerald Heights International School, with dental volunteers from ICF, at the Emerald Heights International School, Khajrana and Dewas
  • 3-day training on home care of terminally ill patients was imparted to 17 nursing attendants
  • A 3-day training program held for counselors on palliative care counseling
  • A 10-day CME on palliative care held for doctors of the state health delivery system
  • Orientation programs held for health workers on how the door-to-door survey for oral and breast cancer is to be done in each of the 8 districts of the Indore division
  • A district-level oral and breast cancer program was held in Khandwa district that began with a door-to-door survey followed by multiple levels of screening and culminated in free surgeries of the patients thus identified

As a part of the community service segment of the Round Square International Conference 2019, students from 156 schools from 34 countries painted the boundary wall of the institute, planted trees, and participated in a cancer awareness run
