Ms. Gilly Burn, Founder Director, Cancer Relief India, a UK based charity, and Dr. Janet Squire, UK based Palliative Care Physician, came on a week long visit, arriving on 2nd February and leaving on 9th February 2015.

During their stay, the 2 experts conducted bedside training sessions for the doctors and nursing staff at our institute. They also gave lectures on various topics related to palliative care, like managing pain, breathlessness, constipation etc.

Ms. Gilly Burn & Dr. Janet Squire also visited some of the medical and nursing colleges in Indore to give talks on palliative care.

This visit will not only help raise the level of palliative care at our institute but will also raise awareness about palliative care and its importance amongst medical students, nursing students and the staff at these institutes.
