During his tenure as the Vice President of the Republic of India, the late Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma released a book on cancer. Written in Hindi by Dr. Govind Sharma, a surgeon based at Ujjain, the book brought out by us received the Third National Award on Health Education, Ministry of Health, Government of India.
