The late Dr. Shalini Bhouraskar was a Professor at the Indore University and died of cancer. She had set up the Vatsala & Narayan Bhouraskar Public Charitable Trust in the memory of her parents and had willed all her assets to this trust.

The trustees of the Bhouraskar Trust found the objectives and values of the ICF very similar to those of their trust. As such, for more than a decade they had made available their bungalow for our detection and education activities.

On 30th March 2010, the Vatsala & Narayan Bhouraskar Public Charitable Trust was merged into the Indore Cancer Foundation Charitable.
