The Divisional Commissioner of Bhopal had requested the Foundation to hold a surgical camp in Bhopal division comprising the districts of Bhopal, Raisen, Rajgarh, Sehore & Vidisha. The preliminary meeting in this regard was held on 2nd March 2013. Subsequently, on 9th March 2013, a half-day training programme for approximately 50 doctors was held and the Foundation team (comprising Drs. Digpal Dharkar, Anil Singhvi, Baldev Dembani, Vikas Gupta & Ghanshyam Dawar) gave inputs on early signs and detection techniques.

Screening camps were held in Bhopal division and the patients thus identified were operated on at the JP Hospital in Bhopal on the 20th & 21st April 2013 when 8 major and 16 minor challenging cancer surgeries were performed.
