VISION

To develop a national centre for India’s commonest cancer, the head & neck cancers, and to bring scientific treatment of cancer within the reach of every patient irrespective of socio-economic status.

MISSION

1. To raise public awareness on the importance of early detection & scientific treatment of cancer, even in remote & tribal areas.
2. To facilitate capacity enhancement of the medical cadre, particularly at the rural level, so that they are aware of the preventive aspects of cancer and are adept at its early detection.
3. To improve quality of life of terminally ill cancer patients especially by making them pain free in the end stage of their life
4. Given the high incidence of head and neck cancers in India, develop a national institute devoted to head & neck cancers, a state-of-the-art centre of excellence working on preventive strategies, diagnostic programmes, clinical & basic research, so that we are able to find answers to our own national problem in this area.
